Mr T P L Raj is a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He was one of the founder members who established the ACCA brand in Sri Lanka having devoted more than 25 years of his life in achieving this objective. During this period his untiring efforts developed ACCA and were responsible in stimulating its growth in Sri Lanka.
He served the council first as secretary and then as President for 9 consecutive years from 1994 – 2003. He served the International Assembly of ACCA – UK from its inception in 1997 for consecutive period of 6 years.
Mr Raj specializes in lecturing for UK Taxation, Performance Management for ACCA professional examination.
At the December 2007 ACCA professional examination he produced a world prize winner for Advance Performance Management (APM Paper P5). Countless number of his students have achieved the Sri Lankan prize. He counts over 20 years of experience as a Senior lecturer in the field of Management Accounting, Taxation, Accounting and Auditing.
During his career he specialized in lecturing for ACCA professional courses. Many thousands who have graduated under his guidance are now the corporate leaders of Sri Lanka. His academic experience is far stretched with representation at many International regional and local Conferences. He also has presented papers at World Conferences.
