You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old or visiting the Site under the supervision of a parent or guardian.

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Agreement, Erin Publications hereby grants you a limited, revocable, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to access and use the Site by displaying it on your internet browser only for the purpose of shopping for personal items sold on the Site and not for any commercial use or use on behalf of any third party, except as explicitly permitted by Erin Publications in advance. Any breach of this Agreement shall result in the immediate revocation of the license granted in this paragraph without notice to you.

Except as permitted in the paragraph above, you may not reproduce, distribute, display, sell, lease, transmit, create derivative works from, translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile or otherwise exploit this Site or any portion of it unless expressly permitted by Erin Publications in writing. You may not make any commercial use of any of the information provided on the Site or make any use of the Site for the benefit of another business unless explicitly permitted by Erin Publications in advance. Erin Publications reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders in its discretion, including, without limitation, if Erin Publications believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to Erin Publications’s interests.

You shall not upload to, distribute, or otherwise publish through this Site any Content, information, or other material that (a) violates or infringes the copyrights, patents, trademarks, service marks, trade secrets, or other proprietary rights of any person; (b) is libelous, threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, pornographic, or could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under U.S. or international law; or (c) includes any bugs, viruses, worms, trap doors, Trojan horses or other harmful code or properties. Erin Publications may assign you a password and account identification to enable you to access and use certain portions of this Site. Each time you use a password or identification, you will be deemed to be authorized to access and use the Site in a manner consistent with the terms and conditions of this Agreement, and Erin Publications has no obligation to investigate the authorization or source of any such access or use of the Site. YOU WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL ACCESS TO AND USE OF THIS SITE BY ANYONE USING THE PASSWORD AND IDENTIFICATION ORIGINALLY ASSIGNED TO YOU WHETHER OR NOT SUCH ACCESS TO AND USE OF THIS SITE IS ACTUALLY AUTHORIZED BY YOU, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL COMMUNICATIONS AND TRANSMISSIONS AND ALL OBLIGATIONS (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS) INCURRED THROUGH SUCH ACCESS OR USE. You are solely responsible for protecting the security and confidentiality of the password and identification assigned to you.

You shall immediately notify Erin Publications of any unauthorized use of your password or identification or any other breach or threatened breach of this Site’s security.

Reviews And Comments

Except as otherwise provided elsewhere in this Agreement or on the Site, anything that you submit or post to the Site and/or provide Erin Publications, including without limitation, ideas, know-how, techniques, questions, reviews, comments, and suggestions (collectively, “Submissions”) is and will be treated as non-confidential and nonproprietary, and Erin Publications shall have the royalty-free, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable and transferable right to use, copy, distribute, display, publish, perform, sell, lease, transmit, adapt, create derivative works from such Submissions by any means and in any form, and to translate, modify, reverse-engineer, disassemble, or decompile such Submissions. All Submissions shall automatically become the sole and exclusive property of Erin Publications and shall not be returned to you. In addition to the rights applicable to any Submission, when you post comments or reviews to the Site, you also grant Erin Publications the right to use the name that you submit with any review, comment, or other Content, if any, in connection with such review, comment, or other content. You represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the reviews, comments and other Content that you post on this Site and that use of your reviews, comments, or other Content by Erin Publications will not infringe upon or violate the rights of any third party. You shall not use a false e mail address, pretend to be someone other than yourself or otherwise mislead Erin Publications or third parties as to the origin of any Submissions or Content. Erin Publications may, but shall not be obligated to, remove or edit any Submissions.

Risk Of Loss; Other Terms Of Sale

The risk of loss and title for items purchased by you pass to you upon Erin Publications’s delivery of the items to the carrier pursuant to Erin Publications’s standard terms of sale.

Termination and Effect Of Termination

In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, Erin Publications may, without prior notice to you, immediately terminate the Agreement or revoke any or all of your rights granted under this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately cease all access to and use of the Site and Erin Publications shall, in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, immediately revoke all password(s) and account identification issued to you and deny your access to and use of this Site in whole or in part. Any termination of this Agreement shall not affect the respective rights and obligations (including without limitation, payment obligations) of the parties arising before the date of termination.

International Access

This Site is a global site and all the relevant local laws and regulations would be applicable and needs to be complied by the user of the website.

Payment

You can pay by Credit Card (via website only), Bank deposits, Cheque or Payment by Cash on Pickup Orders only.

Deliveries

We deliver all over Sri Lanka by courier service partnered with Aramex. 

Delivery is charged at a nominal delivery charge and this charge which is based on your delivery location is shown on your invoice prior to check out.
International shipping can be done only to Maldives. This is because of regional restrictions placed on our books. Delivery charges will be shown on your invoice prior to checkout. 

Dispatch of Books 

Every book on our website has a delivery period which can vary from 2 – 3 days. 

All orders received on working days are dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order but may take up to 5 working days to reach you depending on your delivery location or in Sri Lanka. Orders confirmed during weekends and holidays are processed the following working day.

We offer various payment options. One of the options been direct deposit to bank. Direct deposit to orders are deemed to be confirmed when the payment has been credited to our bank account.

Cash on Pickup/Delivery

We do not have a Cash on Delivery (COD) service. If you prefer to pay by cash we do have a Cash on Pickup service. You may place the order on our website and pickup the books from our office paying cash. 

Return and Refund Request

Refund

In case there is a delay in processing your order we will keep you informed or refund your money. All refunds will be done via bank transfer only. Refunds will take 2 – 3 days to process. Cash refunds will not be issued. Erin Publications will not be held liable for such delays.

Returns

We do not accept returns as the books are sourced for a needed purpose. We will be keen to replace the title if needed. This is subject to the condition of the book sold. All returns must be done within 14 days from date of sale. Erin Publications management reserves the exclusive rights to decide on refunding or replacing a book.

Web Orders – Invoices and payments

Placing order through website:

• The customers placing orders through the website will receive the invoice via email with the required order details once the full payment is done.

Placing order through phone:

• Customers may place an order through phone through the contact numbers available on the website. Orders placed through phone can be picked up from our office. Only cash payments will be accepted for phone orders. A receipt will be provided for the sale of books. 

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO NEGLIGENCE, SHALL ERIN PUBLICATIONS, OR ANY OF ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR CONTENT OR SERVICE PROVIDERS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “PROTECTED ENTITIES”) BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM, OR DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY RELATED TO, THE USE OF, OR THE INABILITY TO USE, THE WEB SITE OR THE CONTENT, MATERIALS AND FUNCTIONS RELATED THE RETO, YOUR PROVISION OF INFORMATION VIA THE WEB SITE, LOST BUSINESS OR LOST SALES, EVEN IF SUCH PROTECTED ENTITY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Erin Publications does not have any control over those non- Erin Publications websites and webpages, and is not responsible for their contents or their use. By linking to a non- Erin Publications website or webpage, Erin Publications does not represent or imply that it endorses such website or webpage. Erin Publications disclaims any responsibility for any harm resulting from your use of non- Erin Publications websites and pages.

Changes

Erin Publications reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace any part of this Agreement. It is your responsibility to check this Agreement periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the Website following the posting of any changes to this Agreement constitutes acceptance of those changes. Erin Publications may also, in the future, offer new services and/or features through the Website (including the release of new tools and resources). Termination

Erin Publications may terminate your access to all or any part of the Website at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. In addition, Erin Publications terminates the Website immediately as part of a general shut down of our service.
